Dear there,
My coworker brings me a Toshiba Portege 7010CT laptop. He had it with him for many years. Now it does not appear to work in fact, it does appear on a screen at the beginning to booting up says " Insert System Disk in Drive. Press any Key When Ready.... ".
I visualise at the beginning that would be a symptom of bad HD or OS corrupted. Then I tried to rebuild 2000 OS, unfortunately I could not boot up from USB portable CDROM drive, so from floppy drive instead using DOS. In DOS, i can see C drive. I can do fdisk so forth. However can not install OS cause DOS does not recognise USB drive. Then I decided to pulloff a HD and pluginto a Desktop which allows me to copy across to second partition of laptop HD.
I then implemented installation. After installation finished when tried to boot from c: partition then it results the same as " Insert System Disk in Drive. Press any Key When Ready.... "
Could any one correct me what i miss please?
Thank you and regards,
