I have a Gateway M-6834 Notebook.
Just last evening, all of a sudden, the laptop rebooted automatically, and showed a black screen. I rebooted it several times. Each time it would give an option to 1) Repair the computer 2) start normally. Selecting either leads to the black scress with 'Microsoft corporation' written in small letters and a white/yellow progress bar just keeps running for ever. I tried F8, Advanced option. Any of the advanced options also leads to the same black screen with the progress bar. I have resetted the BIOS, tried Recovery disk but they all lead to the same black screen as well.
Any ideas?
