qosmio g2 power light bfalshing code 4E

Hi,
my qosmio g25's power light is flashing amber when I hit the power on button. Nothing else happens. I know this is a code in HEX, here's the 8 flashes it repeats (0=short, 1=long) 01001110 I think that's 4E in hex.

2 questions:
1. Is that 4E or have I forgotten my HEX?
2. What does the code 4E mean?

Any response would be VERY much appreciated,

So, your notebook does not start?

Don't know about the LED codes. For me it is usually an issue with battery, AC Adapter or failing motherboard.

Try swap these around and replace them first and see.
