I friend wants to install Vista on her laptop, but her OS is old so she can only do a clean install. I think that she should create a disk partition and put all her files on there so she can clean install Vista. Meaning:
Before any operation:
D: 167 gb used out of 219
After disk partition and file moving
D: 10 mb used out of 39 gb
E: 167 gb used out of 180 gb
After clean vista installation
D: 15 gb used out of 39 gb
E: 167 gb used out of 180 gb
Will this idea work? And if so, can someone post a good partition size for vista?
