All the ATI Radeon Mobility 9600 Pros (128) seems to get untweaked a 3DMark2003 score of 2600. Tweaking can give you up to 600 more.

Are there any more scores with the nVidias?

My laptop cost me $2300. I bought it about 3 weeks ago. I was going to buy an Area-51m, but it costs a few hundred dollars more, and with a smaller screen. Also, the HP came with an external TV Tuner that works like a Tivo, so I went with the HP and I LOVE it. It also plays every game I throw a it and gives a great performance.

Do you think these scores are too low or are they fine? Thanx
Your score look pretty on target. 3Dmark03 tests mainly the video card. The desktop score looks about right for an old(er) card and the 51m looks on par with the rest of us, although the clocks on the 5600 look kinda funny...I knew the NV's were clocked lower than ATI's, but I didn't know they were THAT low.

When I overclock my 5700 the 3dmark03 scores go lower lol. So, I clocked mine down and went higher but only by about 10 points. Maybe the 5700 isn't meant to be overclocked?

If you overclock the 9600 too much you'll have the same prob. If the heat reaches a certain level, you'll not only get artefacts but also to a lower benchmarks. Try and error.

That will happen a lot of times because of the video card getting to hot, Heat=decreased performance...You have to use a aftermarket cooler if you going to overclock anything because the stock fan's just can't keep it cool enough...
