Any Vegas Video 4 users w Sager?

Thread Starter
I ordered a loaded 8887 for Video Editing and other graphics work. I thought I would try Vegas Video 4 + DVD on the new Sager.

Anybody using Vegas Video 4 on the 8887? Would you recommend? Ore earlier Vegas versions?

Thanks for any experiences to share!

Heya

I have tried many PC video progs, and for quick video editing and neat transition/video fx, Vegas is the best. It's alot like Acid or Soundforge (audio Sonic Foundry products) and I really like the way Vegas works. Adobe Premiere still recognizes more video formats, but Vegas is much better in my opinion.

As soon as my 8886 is fixed I can go back to editing . . .

I'm looking for a program that can edit MPEG files also. rightnow I'm using Ulead VideoStudio7. It's very easy to use and support MPEG files. The only problem I have with them so far is it's a bit buggy with large MPEG files. sometime it just hang when I try to open a large MPEG file.
I try a Vegas Video 4 Demo version, but it won't allow me to open MPEG file with DEMO, and I don't think I will buy it since it cost almost $400.
Anyone know any good and easy program that can edit MPEG files and record it in VCD/SVCD format?
