When USB 3.0 in these [Release Date]?

Any idea when we might see USB 3.0 in these notebooks?

I have read as of a few months ago, they were still slating Holiday 2009/Beginning of 2010 as the release date for USB 3.0 to show up in hardware.

That is the only thing making me hold off on this notebook right now.

That is just it - a plan, a road map.

Other than few reports about Intel still "not too keen on other chipset makers building USB 3.0 - aka SuperSpeed USB - into their products" from last year, no update has been given as far as official announcement of when the first implementation will occur.

It could be a long (or short) wait for you.

I think the official releases of 802.11n and USB 3.0 are competing to see which one can take a decade to come out.

This is ridiculous.
