Has Dell gone in reverse on laptop resolution?

I have an XPS m1710 and was thinking about updating the computer. But, when I go to Dell's website I don't see any computer with a good graphics card and 1920x 1600. What's happened?

Is there a better solution?

I assume you mean 1920 x 1200... or in any case fullHD equivalent... and yes there are options. Eg:

Studio XPS 16: can be customised with 1920 x 1080 RGB LED screen (that is full HD 10:9 screen), and 1GB Radeon 4670 graphics

Studio 17: can be customised with 1920 x 1200 RGB LED screen, and Radeon 3650 graphics
http://www.dell.com/us/en/home/noteb...17&s=dhs&cs=19

XPS1730: can be customised with 1920 x 1200 LCD and SLI dual nVIDIA 8700 graphics

M17x: an alienware and little more pricey, but with 1920 x 1200 and dual nVIDIA GTX280 graphics

Dont forget the Dell Precision M4400 and M6400 which both feature a WUXGA 1920x1200 compliant screens.
