I am looking for some opinions on the above two machines.

I am line ball between them, screen size not an issue, fairly close in specs.

Just wanted opinions before I part with my hard earned.

That depends on what you are going to do with the laptop. Please provide us with some of you requirements and usage!

I am using it for general internet browsing, some gaming, storage and editing of photos and videos.

You looking to do heavy gaming? If not there isn't much point in getting the G60.
