one more time: which notebook suits me?

hi guys. good to be back here
ive had a decent amount of laptops so far, i had two xps2, once xps1330 and one random acer and one random ibm laptop. i loved the quality of the ibm, although dell wasnt to far behind.

i have an desktop pc, so i dont need the laptop for pc gaming and a lot of work. i just want to play a lot of poker, but that barely takes up any performance anyways.

i was thinking about 12"-14" widescreen, 200gb harddriver, 3gb+ ram and decent 3h+ batterylife and overall good built quality.
id like the notebook to be slim and light...
i dont mind ordering from the internet.

or should i wait for windows 7?
i live in europe and pay in euros. however, i will fly over to the states first week of august and stay for 6 weeks. so i dont mind buying an american laptop, idc about different keyboard layouts and stuff...

ive been looking at this model, seems to fit my needs pretty well, but i dont know anything about the quality...

Acer "ist" cool! Those are good specs for a 13.3" LED back-lit screen. You probably can find something like that in USA for about 600-700USD. Be careful when taking back through custom ;-) European Tax and local custom fee can hurt your pocket.

cheers ...

yeah thanks for the reply. ive never had problems with custom or similair. 600-700 sounds great. do you know where i could get it of from?
also is the cpu sufficent? looks weak!

Dell XPS and HP dv3t (and possibly others) offer 13.3" LED Back-lit notebooks. Check their on-line configurations. HP is offering rebates at the moment.

Specs do not look bad for the 13.3" line.

Take a look at this one:

and also search for Sony VGN-SR series - a bit pricey though.
