Area 51 766SN0 Video Card

I need to replace the video card because its toasted. It was a nvidia 5600 fx go. What kind is the video card (I.E. pci, pci-e, agp, ect.). Also i know that this card is hard to find so what are the avaiable cards that will work?

The only models that are compatable with the 766 are the Go 56 and 5700's and the ATI Radeon 96 and 9700 Pro's. The chipset is AGP.

ztronics.com has a Go5600 for about $300. You'll have to talk to someone in the warehouse, but last time I called they said they had one left. Best of luck!

You also may want to check up on those nvidia cards.. they under preform when compaired to the ATI's, but in this case you may be stuck with what you can find. I have no idea if the FX GO 5650 would be compatable or not btw.
