eMachines M68xx and Vista/Windows 7

Thread Starter
I'd like to give Windows 7 a try on my M6810. It appears that Vista drivers will work just fine on Windows 7. As such I am trying to track down as many drivers as I can for the M6810 for Vista. Can anyone provide their experience in this regard? I looked around briefly and wasn't able to find much help.

I have NO issue with my M6805 and Vista. I don't foresee any issues with W7 either. Let us know.

Browse the section for the Vista and eMachines threads.

cheers ...

I have Windows 7 running on my mx7527, a cousin of the m6805, and it runs smoothly. The only thing I was worried about was the video driver but Windows update supplied that for me. I think W7 should run fine on a m6805.

Yes, they are pretty much the same, just slightly different processors or optical drives. They all use the same Windows hardware drivers.
