Yo hows it going. Got some questions for ya XD
I'm gonna be restoring a M7700, plus upgrading my M7700.
I got one not long ago from my dad for a xmas present i know there a lil out dated and crap but he liked it and did something special on it for me. So i cant really buy another unless the top lids are interchangeble with other Alienwares. Heres a pic of the lid:

So i dont really want to buy a new lappy. But am under sure with mobo verisons i got a 5.2 i think. Do i need a 6.2 at least to get a 7800gtx? i think thats the right card. I was gonna try and get the 8600m what i got in my Asus G1n but i found out its not possible and crap so i didnt want to go for the crazy assed price gfx so i want to go for the second best lol.
I upped the ram to 2 gigs. As it only had 1gig. And thats pretty much all i want to do to mine.
The other one am gettin, am building for my g/f as she loves alienware. I build her a Alienware PC ... well i used there case. Am gonna give her the ALX one i got one day soon. Anwyas back to the point. the one am gettin the mobo is dead. Someone put the power connector on the wrong way and cooked the mobo. My question is:
Would i be able to be a clevo D900K one in it or do i have to stick to the D900T. I wasnt sure if the fittings are a lil different. And am i better with the K over the T. Hopefully rest of the system is ok. I might steal the CPU out of as its a 3.6ghz while mines only the 3ghz.
