my friend's dv2000 would not start. if you turn it on, the power indicator/LED/light is on, but not the harddrive indicator. plus you have a dark screen. however sometimes after several days, the problem is gone, the laptop is started and you can go in VISTA. but the system is running slow. then you turned it off and it broken again.
so is this a hard drive problem or something else, like memory?
