Listen at this... the last time I sent my M1730 in was because the tech didn't hook the keyboard up right, then Dell calls back and says the CPU, GPU's (Both), Memory, and the PhysX card died. I was like "WTF?" and this was the 15th time I sent my PC in. Dell could save alot of money if they would make a decent machine.

this might not be depending if you have accidental coverage, doest it look bad? where it hit. i would check your warranty first before saying something about the fall.

Call up and say it's broken. Then maybe the replacement laptop will arrive before the actual one does. . .

please don't suggest intentionally damaging your computer, it just looks bad and is the whole reason it is so difficult to get anything done

remember, dell reads all this stuff. they know exactly what is going on

Please learn to read before criticizing my humor.

If he doesn't have his computer in hand then it would be impossible for him to damage it, now wouldn't it? Since the joke went over your head, I'll explain it to you: Replacements are shipping considerably faster than orders, so the humor is to request a replacement on an order that hasn't shipped resulting in receiving the computer faster.

I'm not particularly interested in drawing you a picture; so if you need further help, please ask a friend.

No I won't. I'm still in the build stage. I got a call this morning saying another 3 - 4 business days. It's frustrating. Typing on my Mini 9 is not fun.

i wasn't talking to anyone specific, i could tell where the talk was going so i tried to nip it in the bud

if you read the entire thread you will see what i mean

In my last replacements for my wife's 1210 and my 1710 I pulled the HD's and Memory out as I had upgraded them and didn't know what I did with the old ones. Dell never said anything.
