To my dismay, there is no shifting black to blue. oh well. Kameleon paint by house of kolors is also really expensive. 1 pint = $300 while dupli-paint mirage comes in a 20 dollar 3 can set but with colors that I doubt I would use. So I guess I'm sticking to solid colors.

I have to admit tho, PCtorques laguna seca blue is really really nice

I'm not sure how radiant Blue LEDs would look on it tho. The black body with blue LEDs sound really really tempting.

Spiike.. Krylon has a new spray out for plastic.. supposed to eliminate the need for sanding, and what not.. im not sure how good it is though.. might buy a can and give it a test run on a POS compaq Deskpro im modding.

That sounds good, I wouldn't try one of those on my laptop though unless its proven..... if you give it a go on your old compaq make sure to post the results and a pic of the finish for us! Cheers,

yea i've read about it. It's called krylon fusion. Thing is, I'm going for an ultra glossy finish you would fine on a rolls royce. That paint will give a plastic look. Although, it isn't bad, it's just not what I'm looking for.

Spiike, when you do paint your laptop would you mind posting some pics showing the process. Im ordering a Hypersonic CX6 next month and I'm unwilling to pay the $540 they charge for a paint job so I'm going to do it myself. Only problem: I don't know how.
