Sony K315Z - Replacement Sony laptop HDD

My Sony K315Z laptop's HDD (60gig) has just died and 'googling' for replacements has not brought much info.
Therefore could anyone advise if there are any know problems with fitting any HDD (IDE) in this m/c. I was considering a WD Scorpio 120gig.

You should not have any issues with 120gigo drive. Have fun.

No problem at all. Let us know how it turns out for you. And I would not personally go more than your idea of 120gigo ;-)

Well,ordered a 120gig WD HDD on Tues and it arrived today,Thursday.Fitted,initialised, restored and working fine.Another problem solved - next World Peace.

Glad to hear ... World Peace, hmmm - we will need more than just a few extra gigo of hard drive ;-) but that is a noble challenge.
