Help getting PSP memory card out of wrong slot

Hi guys,
I am a newby to these forums, I generally lurk a little before posting a topic, but I am impatient to solve this problem I have.
I took my memory card out of my PSP and stuck it in what I thought was the appropriate memory card slot on the side of my Asus X83VB-X1 laptop. To my surprise, the card was too small(the slot itself is labeled mmc.sd.ms/pro), and is lodged in there pretty good.
Tilting the laptop does not seem to work. The only object small enough to fit in the slot would be my house key(I have tried needle nose pliers, chopsticks, and a tiny flat wrench). I tried wrapping scotch tape around my housekey, and inserting it into the slot. I now have scotch tape blocking the way to my PSP card.
This PSP card has all my saved games on it, along with some Jenna Jameson porn I got for my birthday. Does anyone have any ideas or solutions?

Your best bet is to use a thin wedge, like flat-tipped tweezers or a paper clip with lots of precision. It will take time to find just the right angle, but don't give up!

As said tweezers. Or some version of. Can you bend a paper clip to get behind? If so do and use a second so it does not jam on opposite side? Keep unplugged while doing all.

Tweezers are too big. I am talking about an opening of less than 1/8th of an inch. The paperclip option however may be my only hope.
Also, where do I find specs for my laptop? I googled my model number, but found this forum instead. I notice a lot of people post their specs in their sig.

You have quite a problem.

But don't forget to also ask why it happened in the first place.

PSPs use Memory Stick DUO, which is like half the size of the original Memory Sticks, and pretty much all the memory card readers are desinged to work with the original memory sticks. So you need to use an adapter that converts the MS DUO into a "normal" MS.

Also, you should now that there's an even smaller Memory Stick, it is called MS Micro or MS M2.

Good luck with your problem.

English is not my first language, so I don't understand what you mean. Can you explain me please?

Theres a pair of tweezers you can buy in the beauty section of most pharmacy type stores which is used to grab small things like wood splinters. this is effective as ive been in your situation before with a relative who had the exact same issue minus the foreign objects. On some notebooks you can access the inner part of the card reader if you can remove the palm assemly which is typically available on most support websites of the manufacturer.

Hindsight is 20/20 - it is easy to figure out a situation after the fact, and point out what should have been done, or what should have been avoided (20/20 refers to perfect vision). The phrase is often used in response to criticism of a decision (ie lots of people may have an opinion about what their favourite team should have done differently after loosing a game, but that doesn't mean that during the game they could have made better decisions than the coach/team with the information available at the time), or simply to indicate you would have done things differently had you known then what you know now.

Captain Obvious - 'Captain <whatever>' is in the form of some super hero names, which can refer to their super power. 'Captain Obvious' is just a way to give someone a bit of a hard time about making an blatantly obvious observation. It is similar to calling someone Sherlock (referring to the brilliant fictional detective Sherlock Holmes) after they figure out something easy that everyone else thought was obvious.

Thank you for taking the time to explain me all that. I kinda new what he meant, I was just not so sure, specially in the "Hindsight is 20/20" part.

Anyway, I was just trying to help. Maybe he already knew what the problem was, but I thought it could help other people.

Cheers!

As for me i would take a long tooth pick and poking the stuffs inside and shaking it at the same time downward so i might have luck loosing it and fall right out.

As for tweezers they are simply too big to fit in. I have a psp and i can tell that MS slot is very very small.
