Gateway 7811FX help

Greetings, I don't want to waste your time so I'll get right to it. I've had my laptop since December and lately it's been overheating. the temperature holds steady at about 40 C however when I pop in a game it jumps to about 53 C. I have to clean the dust out in order to lower the temperatures. What I was hoping someone could provide me with is a good dismantling guide (or point me in the direction of one) so I can clean the heat sinks and fans. I haven't done it before and I want to do it right. Or should I just pay someone at a computer place to clean it and be done with it?

Thanks for any help

For the heatsink and fan access, all you need is to remove the large compartment cover (5 screws) at the bottom, left and (quasi) below the battery.

Make sure that you remove the AC and battery, hold down the power button for 30 secs to discharge whatever is left.

If you are using canned air to blow it out, make sure the fan blade is isolated with something to keep it from over spinning. Also, keep the air can upright, if tilted they sometimes shoot out water. Not good for electronics
