Good day folks,

I've been riddling around about a little problem with my laptop for a while, and just don't understand what's going on... I've got an Acer Aspire 8530 (AMD Athlon x2 64 QL-62, 2,0 GHz, 3 GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 3400 512 MB Dedicated, Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit). I'm a computer game fan, therefore I play several games like Counter Strike, Dawn Of War, etc.

I used to play with the power management mode on max performance, but games always were running pretty bad, even if my system has 3 times the requirements for this games. One day I forgot to turn power saving on after having the AC adapter connected, and started playing. I noticed a HUGE enhancement on gameplay (from 25 fps to almost 70 fps, games loaded faster and so on). Then I checked the energy mode and it was on power Saving. How can this be? It should be the other way around! Can someone help me please? thanks =)

Cheers
