when will intel i7 processors come to notebooks?

Is there any news on this? I am in the market for a new notebook computer, but I was going to wait until October when Windows 7 comes out.

Any idea if new models will be released between now and than? Is it even possible to put an i7 processor on a notebook?

Currently, the Sager NP9280 allows desktop i7 CPUs, although the downsides are that the thing is huge, heavy, expensive, and gets squat for battery life.

Mobile i7 CPUs and the accompanying Calpella chipset are going to launch in September-October (for quads) and January (for dual-core).

After the 23rd of September is what i heard. I am thinking of getting a quad as well but you have to make sure that it will be availablein the notebook model you might be interested in. I am thinking of getting an HP HD16x or Dell Studio Xps 16 but i am pretty sure that none of them will have a quad core option anytime soon or ever
