what do you guys recommend for a Wi-Fi upgrade over the Intel Pro/2200BG Mini PCI-E card?

maybe the broadcom Dell truemobile series but you cant really do much better than the 2200BG.

Talk about the best B/G WLAN card.

By the way, is it true that older wifi cards are more likely get hacked? Because the module itself it old?

Older generation cards support lower encryption so technically yes but your talking about B generation cards or the early variety so I wouldnt worry.

Older cards supported lower range security protocols so ye syou are likley to be hacked easier.
