Setting Up a Network with Multiple Routers

I have recently recieved a free wireless netgear router (WGT624) from a friend and I want to set it up so that I can use it with the network I have in place right now. I am a pretty big networking newb and I need some help with it.

Currently I have a DSL modem connected to a regular netgear router (RP614) and that is hooked up to 4 different computers. I want to connect the wireless router to use with one of the connections from the old router. Does anyone know how to do this or know of a website that would tell me step-by-step how to set up the second router and the first routers so that the network would work?

First you'll want to plug one of your computers directly into the wireless router through one of the swicthed ports. And disable the DHCP.

Then just connect the 2 routers together through the switched ports (don't use the uplink port on the wireless router)

That should be all you have to do. Or you can just plug the first router into the wireless one from a switch port on router 1 to the uplink on the wireless one. The only down side is you won't be able to see all the computers on the network.

Just make sure you disable DHCP on one of the routers or wierd things will happen!
