how would i remove them? and is there any way to kno if i need/use them? and how much space do they take up?

Go into Windows add/remove programs. It will tell you how much spaces these things are taking, and when was the last time it has been used/accessed.

if i accidentally delete something that the computer actually needed, will it let me know, and then take me to the download page?

so i go to my programs, but i can't find Adobe Flash Player 9.x (General Plug-in), etc. why aren't all of them showing up? how would i go about deleting these? can i use secunia somehow to delete them for me?

They might not show up in "Programs" but they should show up in Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel.

so here is a snapshot of what i have. most of the programs that need updating are not even listed here. so maybe if i try to update them, will it find that i already have the latest update them, and ignore it?
