I have a Toshiba P200 Satellite which is slightly over 1 yr old now. I am running Windows Vista Ultimate on this machine. About 3 weeks ago I started to get/hear a funny noise (like something spinning/fan etc) that comes from underneath the right harmon/kardon speaker. It sound like a fan spinning than after a while it will stop and after another 20 secs or so it comes back on. Also the position that this is in, is on the right hand side on the bottom of the laptop just under the HK speaker.
I am sure its a fan of some sort because I can think of any other moving part.
The problem is it gets noisy and rattly and it comes on every say 20 secs or so, goes off for 15 secs than comes back on again.
Any suggestions ?
