Wisefish: When I adjust the color/brightness in the ATI control panel, it changes both the LCD and external CRT. About when I get the brightness ok on the LCD, the CRT is almost unreadable...even then, the color on the LCD is washed out quite a bit.
Its actually OK, bearable, after I have used JUST the LCD for a while and I dont notice it as much.
My color settings are not "saving" either. When I exit some games, I have to go into the control panel again and access the colro tab to get the changes to take place again.
Im not going to send mine back yet, as it seems that I am not the only one with this issue. Sager lists the LCD as being a hitachi, but I found that the part number that they list crosses with a sony vaio screen?
Try this - take this image and make it your background image:http://www.stangnet.com/mustanggtcon...cept1_1024.jpg
Now, hook up an external CRT and look at the differences in the pixelation on the hood of the car (if yours is like mine, the CRT has a ver smooth gradient and the LCD is kinda choppy looking). For this reason, I was looking for drivers for the display (LCD) to see if it would look any better.
