Testing Your Video Card
Restart your computer.
Keep mashing F12 until the boot menu comes up.
Your laptop will do the "Pre-boot System Assessment" and will then give you some options.
You can run an Express Test to test the basic parts of your computer, or run a Custom Test.
I'd say run a Custom Test just on your video card, I'm willing to bet the memory on the card is fried.
If the tests come up negative you can try using your computer some more, wait till it messes up again, and trying the Diagnostics again until it finds something wrong (if the problem is hardware it'll find it eventually).
If the card is dead, you're only options are to buy a new card or new laptop (or claim your warranty if you have one).
Good luck, I've had two cards die on me, never fun.
