Need Help with RAM

I've been searching for this and I'm sure its out there but I can't find any direct answers. And I figure you guys can just answer it in about half a second. So I just ordered a new Toshiba Satellite A500. The laptop has this processor:

Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T9600 (2.80GHz, 6MB L2, 1066MHz FSB)

and this video card:

ATI Mobility Radeon™ H4650 with 1GB DDR3 discrete graphics plus up to 255MB shared memory using ATI HyperMemory™ technology

and it comes with this RAM(i got the lowest option so i could upgrade myself):

2GB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz SDRAM (2048MBx1)

I need to know which RAM to get, I'm on this page of NewEgg:

I'm not sure which one to get. I want to get the most performance possible under a pricetag of about $400, I will be using this for some heavy duty work . I'm not sure about DDR2 and DDR3 and which will fit, and buffered and unbuffered and hyperX etc. If you could just lay out some options I would realllly appreciate it. Thanks sooooo much for your help!

PS. If you have a better place for me to buy it besides newegg please let me know

As qhn said I also want to hear more about this notebook. Here is my link. What I like about it? Transcend does have name. It is cheaper than Khan's link. Oh and my link is CL qhn's is CL6.

Even if yours comes with CL6 min is cheaper and if you upgrade later you can go CL5. If the Toshiba comes with CL5 you are already set.

I assumed you were only going to buy 1x2GB? If you want to buy 2x2GB, these are CL4, link.
