INSPIRON 1520 AND 8600 GT-gpu questio

i have an insprion 1520, with a 8600gt..i have hardly used it yet, probably has 10 hours on it....

i like the laptop..some don, t...but i think the silver with blue lights looks cool.,and the chasis is solid...not like the cheap plastic cases i see on the new laptops today

question- i saw dell had a list of extended warrantys for for laptops that have the problems with the nvidia gpu,s...due to the bad manufacturing i quess...anyhow,,,,the list does not have my insprion 1520 on it...did nvidia correct the manufacturing on the gpu, and i have a good one???

i would still get the warranty in my opinion regardless is you have a good GPU or not
the simple fact that other components can also go bad in the system. just make sure the warranty coverage is good. the lenght of the warranty is totally up to you i guess what i'm saying is if you have a 3 year warranty and decided to sell the system after 1 year you can still add the value of the warranty to the sell cost.

i just don,t get it,,my insprion 1520 has the 8600 gt,,,why is not on the list...is it not one of the gpu,s that has the problem???
