Looking at the requirements, I do not see why not. The P-7811FX is still a solid gaming machine as of to date.

thanks for the reply. Yeh I was thinking it would run it. But I've been playing WoW and I was playing it at high quality graphics the entire first month when I first got the laptop. It there any reason why it would run awesomely and then just run on minimum settings. ??

Did you make any changes to the system since the beginning? Any extra (un-needed) background processes? WoW patches? GPU drivers? Defrag your comp lately?

Those are the things that I would review and check.

Yeh the BF, has had a lot of WoW patches since we've had it. As for defrags I defrag it once a month. When I'm playing a game the laptop gets really hot. I just bought a cooling fan for the bottom and it's helped a little. Are there any other tricks to help keep this beast of a machine heating up. Also I havent opened the machine up to clean it could that effect performance?

I replaced the thermal paste (using LiquidPro) on my P-7811FX and had experienced improvements.

And the rest is to elevate it and use (as needed) a desktop fan when gaming.

I found this stuff

Coollaboratory LIQUID PRO (100% Liquid Metal) Thermal Interface Material

looking for the thermal paste you recommended and was wondering if this was ok to use on my GPU. It says not to use on Aluminum surfaces. Was wondering how I could tell if the GPU surface is Aluminum or not.

I would not want to try the LiquidPro on the GPU, but some sort of paste like AS5 or IC Diamond 7.

Remember a little bit goes a long way.

cheers ...
