Acer Aspire 5738zg grafic problems

I have bought new acer aspire 5738zg and have some problems with grafic. All films run bad. i have tird many of video pleyers but it didin't help for films. All drivers are in pc i run 64bit. And some games like gta4 have huge laf and loptop turns hot. Mabe somebody have same problems with video and know how to fix it. ty

What codecs are you using at the moment? You mentioned trying many video players, VLC also?

Films: are they DVDs, media files or streaming videos?

Now i have Gom player. I tried many off them vlc ,powerdvd,bs,cmp,but all was same. i played dvd,dvdrip moveis and they all look bad. on some game i have lag. i have tried to reinstal video drivers but it still the same problems. i am runing 64 bit vista and drivers ar 64 bit to. so what is the problem ? mabe i need intal 32 bit vista or xp

Nah, I use 64Bits from the very beginning with XP, Vista and now Windows 7. No issue. Your machine is fast and power enough to support the OS.

I recommend reviewing your star-up processes, disabling the ones that are unneeded. Download and install K-Lite Codecs and try again.

What anti-virus software are you using?

Are you using your laptop on a soft surface or on a desk..I f you are blocking the fan vents, that would be causing the heat problem..Is the Operating system as it came from the factory, or did you reload
