Alienware m5700 ac adapter flashes/chirps when connection occurs

Hi All..first post!

Serious concern after plugging my ac adapter into my laptop and the ac adapter begins flashing/chirping lightly. I try my other ac adapter in a different outlet, same result. I removed the battery as another step and still no power to the laptop. Power Supply/Connection or Motherboard??? Those are my three guesses but I could be wrong, can anyone help with previous experiences?

If both ac adapters chirped and flashed, find/give a 3rd one a shot.

Well after taking it apart piece by piece...the video card is fried. And I rememebered its an m7700, does anyone know where I can get a replacement 6800 Ultra for under $359?

Video Card

Thank you WarrenWong! I opened it up about a month ago and inspected everything...turns out the video card was fried. It's been dead in the water since then because that video card retails for nearly $400. So I am somewhat dead in the water too without my information readily available. My time is limited for tracing a good source for replacement, could you potentially point me in the right direction? Initial google searches turned up nothing reliable.
