Acer 5739g 64bit problem

I just got this laptop (windows vista home premium 64bit) from newegg yesterday and I was wondering why in the task manger and the processes tab, most of the problems end with "*32". For example:

firefox.exe *32
pidgin.exe *32
Steam.exe *32

I have never used Vista 64 bit before and I was wondering if something is wrong.

that *32 indicates programs running in 32bit mode.

Watch using IE 64 bit because if you goto a flash page it will keep trying to install Flash and if you say yes to install flash it will say Flash is not capatible with 64 bit OS. Just run the 32 bit IE.
