If it worked before, then it is likey that you are missing something when putting them back. Take it apart and check the steps again.

Care to share which CPU you were upgrading to?

I upgraded to the T9300 Intel Duo 2 Core but I found out what was the problem. The lock that secures the CPU in was unlocked now that the CPU is fixed is there any easier way of reaching the GPU without taking out the whole thing? I cleaned out my CPU heatsink and it was a major improvement on the CPU (normaly it would be at 60c) its now at 49 while idle and 60+ playing games. For some odd reason while playing the new Wolfenstein game it will randomly turn of the screen after like 10 min of playing, at first I thought it was the GPU but I can play any other game fine (TF2, SFIV, L4D). What I found was while playing Wolfenstein the temp slowly getting hotter and hotter cause I was afraid of burning it out I now stop when it hits 80C. Is this a know issue with Wolfestein or something has gone wrong? This all started happening once I installed the game both T5450 and T9300 CPU ran in to this problem.

You need to take the whole heat-sink out to get to the GPU. Have you checked out the stickies on this model? Going to T9300 might be pushing it. Also the fan should be kicking in by then. Try NHC or RMClock and see if you can monitor the temp.

I used GPU-Z to check the temp, it starts at 60C, something blows up and reaches 70C then I fight a heavy armored Nazi and reaches 80C. Powerpack said it would be fine if I used that T9300 but if its going to be a problem I'll switch back to the stock CPU.

Cool, keep an eye on it. I personally would not go over the P8xxx CPU series on this machine.

You did check out these 2 threads?

Yeah I have checked both threads and the upgrade project thread is the one I used to crack it open. Going to try and get those compressed air cans and see if this helps my heat problem
