Downgrade from Vista 64 to 32 bit

I have an Aspire Timeline 3810T that came preloaded with Vista Premium 64 bit. Is there a way to downgrade to 32bit?

If not I assume I can install my XP on this machine?

Thanks

You can install Vista 32 Bits or XP if you want. Might have issues with finding devices drivers and special apps that come with the original delivery.

Check out the availability of the drivers under these OSes first before making the jump.

As for Vista 32 I would have to buy that system right? I have recovery disk but I assume there isn't an option?

You need an installation disk, yes. But I think that you can use the same key to "downgrade" with a call to MS during activation.

Why do you want to downgrade? You can run 32 and 64 bit software in a 64 bit Operating System but you can only run 32 bit software in a 32 bit OS. Also 32 bit has a limit of memory it can use thats a little above 3 gig.
