Hello, I have already contacted HP and have been informed this laptop ran out of extended warranty in January of this year
It sat on a shelf for over a year because the previous owner didn't know there was an enhanced warranty program.
The laptop will charge the battery, but when the power button is pressed, ALL led's blink once and nothing else gets powered at all. No fans spin, the hard drive does not initialize and nothing else happens. This can be repeated over and over. My question is could this possibly be a processor issue rather than the dreaded motherboard chipset? It has the AMD sempron processor. Thanks in advance.
