Acer Aspire 5100 LCD problems

Hi, I have a problem with the laptop LCD panels. LCD panel and inverter are tested and correct the external monitor works perfectly, is there some kind of suggestion?

What sort of problem??Lines??? If so, more than likely the GPU (vid chip)

LCD panel is completely dead and can not switch in the settings from the panel, laptop only works with an external monitor.

In that case, looks like the LCD is broken/dead. Did it just happen??? Was it banged, sat on???

No lcd and is tested On the laptop I joined the second LCD panel and inverter are correct, and so concluded that my LCD panel and inverter in order.

What is the resolution that you have on the erxternal? It could be out of range from what the LCD can support, thus no screen.

I tried everything to test the resolution of graphics cards: from 800x600 to 1280x1024 pixels, without change.

could be a failure with the north bridge. on other models I have seen the same symptom. after I repaired the north bridge, internal video worked again.

I never seen the north bridge fail on a 5100, usually its the ati ixp 450 south bridge that fails on these models...

Thanks guys for your help, I solved the problem today, it was the cable from the LCD panel that connects the motherboard
