Hello all
Well, I've been in the market for a new game lately and Prototype caught my eye by the open world type gameplay (and the skydiving from skyscrapers, pile driving tanks, etc.). However, from the benchmarks I've seen from
http://www.pcgameshardware.com/aid,6...hots/Practice/
and
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...rk,2350-9.html
the game seems to like every bit of CPU power it can get.
So, my specs:
C2D T7400 @ 2.16 GHz
4 GB DDR2 RAM
GeForce Go 7950 GTX
80 GB 7200 RPM HD
I'm looking to play it at 1440x900 res at the least. I'm pretty sure my GPU can take it, it's just my CPU that I'm kind of worried about when there are 40+ characters on screen. I experience slowdown in Supreme Commander when there are hundreds of units to keep track of, but then I can just zoom out and wipe an AI off the map to reduce the unit count. So, does anyone have experience trying to play this game on a [relatively] low end dual-core?
Thanks in advance!
