Inspiron 9400/e1705 - nVidia 7900GS - Windows 7 x64 Drivers tip!?

Hi there, for long time I've been using the Windows Vista (32) that came with my Inspiron 9400, now I'm going to (thankfully) upgrade to Windows 7 x64 and I'd like to know if anybody know (had used/ tested/seen) what would be the best and great driver for this nVidia GeForce 7900GS on W7 64.

I looked over nVidia website and there is currently no certified driver for this card + Windows version, so for what I see, we'll have to go either laptopvideo2go and mobileForce, but which version? Any most stable known versions?

I'd greatly appreciate any sharing experiences on this matter.

I use NBF Mobile Force driver at the moment for my 9800GT on W7.

Thanks qhn!

This looks what I was expecting (recent drivers + certified). Although I created this thread before upgrading from Vista and now when I just installed the Windows 7, it actually boot up with really only "generic/default driver" (with only 3 basic resolution possible) but as I was connected to the web Windows update promptly asked me about downloading the "nVidia GeForce 7900GS" driver... well, it doesn't say which version is it and any other details. The question is, should I use this recommended by Windows update or go ahead with this 190.62 ForceWare?

I did not have the "recommended" driver in my updates and was having some issues with the Vista one. I made the jump to NBF Mobile Force as an alternative, just like many other users using laptopvideo2go or DOX.

Try both of them out and see which one makes out for you. With NBF Mobile Force, you have local support here on our forum.
