Installing internal bluetooth

Thread Starter
Hi, I've got a Toshiba Satellite Pro A120-187 laptop (model no. PSAC1E-05T021EN, purchased Sept 07) that didn't come with bluetooth and now I'd really like the option. I know you can get various external USB bluetooth dongles and PCMCIA bluetooth cards but none of my 3 USB ports are frequently free and my PCMCIA slot has been taken up by my eSATA adaptor. So is there an alternative internal bluetooth card/chip that I can install/get installed instead?

I've read a little about a "Bluetooth Kit" but I don't if it's compatible with the A120 or where I can get it from.

Thanks

This model never offer bluetooth as an option, according to what I read about the specs. So I doubt that the Bluetooth Kit would work for you. Saying that, there are guides on the net about DIY internal bluetooth installation. You want to search for them and see if you want to chance it. Good lucks.

cheers ...
