Will a Dell XPS m1530 work with 8gigs of ram?

I have searched and searched....and it appears possible.

Has anyone done it to verify?

This Intel document says chipset only supports 4GB's RAM, link. Sometimes Intel documents are wrong.

No you can have 8 gigs, but I wanna know what you're doing on a 1530 that requires 8 gigs, cause I had a 1530 earlier and I HAVE NO CLUE what you could be doing that would require the expensive mod of getting 8 gigs on your laptop, you're much better off getting a SSD or a new m15x

Virtual machines...they tend to eat up a lot of ram.
