Im aware that its possible to get the fx3600m to work in the e1705/9400. but there's a brightness issue. i was talking to someone on ebay with some knowlage on fixing video cards such as the 7900gs and stuff and i was talking to him about the brightness issue. he suggested to power the lcd screen via the usb, via the 5v power output. or powering the lcd externally. instead of powering the lcd via the power inverter. just wondering if anyone has attempted to power a laptop lcd via usb or externally. to correct the brightness issue with the fx3600m. oviously there no way to bypass or patch the bios to do this via the power inverter so the only way then would be to power the lcd externally. any comments?
