For anyone looking to purchase RAM outside of Dell for there M15x consider 1600 DDR3 ram as the BIOS supports it.

Any laptop that supports DDR3 will support the 1600Mhz DDR3 memory you posted earlier.

Ok, so I had my resolution expert expidite my order. Not sure how much sooner I would get it with this but my guess is that the Windows 7 is seems to hold everything up since I am not the only one with delays related to my order.

Quick question:

1. P8600 and Dual 260m GTX vs T9600 and dual 280m GTX: How much faster is the latter?

No it's the sales group pushing their orders ahead of the online orders. I called them today and said either ship it or cancel it and they said they'd call me tomorrow. We'll see.

Knowing Dell, they won't be shipping it tomorrow... but its a great way to get them to incentivize you to keep the order...

I wouldn't think it's much of a difference, maybe a 10% on some games.

Driver used would determine the difference greater than the hardware. All things being equal 10% sounds right.

Well folks, I am officially in the "boxing stage" as of this morning. Can't be too long now... but then again, I've head of people being in the boxing stage for like a week+ so you never know. Will keep you all posted.
