What a pain in the ass man... this is just rediculous. I am thinking that Quality Control is suffering do to the fact that they are forced to produce the computers faster... with all the issues you've been having... its just sad to see. Sorry NWGuru...

New system is supposedly coming next week.

Someone else who owns one verified their system is doing the same thing. This is more than likely a bios defect. It's the A02 bios.

Hmm, could also be an ATI issue. Maybe see if someone with the same specs but the 280m SLI is having the same issue?

Well I'm starting to get frustrated...after my order was
pushed a second time I call to check on it yesterday to find out it was canceled.I called them and they said that a French version of windows was installed and they had to cancel my order and put a multi laguage version of windows 7 on it. I asked if this was a build stage screw up and the lady said yes.I also asked if this was going to push my est date back again and of course it went from nov 19 to dec 3... Is there a number I can call Dell at to vent my frustration?

Are you kidding? This is the best place to vent your frustration and having sympathetic ears. Pushing DELL too much nowadays and you end up on their black list They are developing a teflon skin

Any excuses they can find at the moment to postpone or slow down the delivery are good. But an OS delay? This is topping everything so far

does any one know the part number for the 4870. i'm thinking about selling my 280m gtx sli and getting the 4870 from dell. i thought about trading but that doesn't seem posible unless it is with someone in the uk. which i don't have a problem with but i can't find anyone.
