Whoa dave. That's a ton of dough. Most I've ever spent on a notebook was back in 2002. It was my first AW, ended up dropping $3500 on it, not including a 3 year warranty. Since then I've elected to go lower on memory, CPU and hard drives and update those myself over time.

$ 500.00 of that was taxes

but oh well. I expect to have most of it paid for by selling the m6400, but it may take some time to sell a loaded M6400 as well.

If not I guess my Son going to get a nice laptop ha ha

they took 5 days to go from order submitted to Order Processed for me...

it was 7 days in production though

Where does it say in production? The website almost immediately says that after ordering. If you haven't tried calling it in yet you should do so.

Well, my order display has no ETA, so I didn't really have a delivery date to begin with. It just shows "in production". Order was placed on 10/6.

Ahh, I should have clarified, its due to SHIP tomorrow, not delivered. I am sorry bout that. so it took them a little over a week to build, and it should be SHIPPING on 10/14
