Nope, the difference right now is in the OS. Vista 32bit vs Win 7 64 bit.

ati's are better with win7 then vista.

Yeah but I'm better with Vista since I've used it more. Just the version I'm used to is call Windows 2008 server.

lol. oh ok. i used server 2003. and it was much better then xp by a long shot. but there was just no sound.

yes i have tried. right now i am at 3.125ghz. and my fsb is 1000 my ram is 1333mhz.

i did the thing and i tried
1066 cpu
1333 ram

Try 1030:1030. That is an older proc so it could be an issue.

nope. it was either a p8600 or a t9300 and i choose the t9300 because of the 6mb cache vs the 3mb cache. and the max overclock on the p8600 is 3.0ghz were as the t9300 was 3.125 in the bios.

what about the fact your bus is running under 1066 as designed.

well i originally thought it would surpass 1066 but it didn't but i also looked up the stepping and it's a c0 stepping.

there was a site i found c0 vs e0 stepping. and e0 was cooler, can overclock higher and is a much better cpu overall but the c0 at the same clock speeds was faster. i believe it was because the cache is closer the cpu or something towards that lines.
