I think I saw on the Dell site they were saying Crossfired 4870 would perform better...But I will believe that when I see it.

All the benches I ever saw has 280 on top, idk.... I probably wouldn't see the differance anyways

there is a slight chance GPUZ could be off in the memory type. The only way to know for sure is to pop the bottom and pull the card out and read off the HYNIX (hyundai branded) mem module model numbers to confirm. Im sure someone here is likely going to do that if there the type to add aftermarket thermal compound.

Someone did do that. It was visually confirmed to be GDDR3 but Dell continues to insist that they are GDDR5.

I keep have thoughts about buying the Clevo W870CU...can't get them out of my head. Fully loaded the price is about the same.

So you still getting the ATI cards even tho they maybe slower than the 280's ?
