Windows Updates

I do not have any intention to upgrade to Windows 7 for the timebeing ; but what about the updates....Would I still receive the updates for Vista ???

Sure. Why not? XP is still receiving updates

I found this article which states that Vista will be supported until 2012.

Speaking about updates, the latest updates of today have definitively improved the performance on Vista 32 Bits and Vista 64 Bits.

Namely for Security issues, I would not be surprised if MS had not found some ways to improve its tools within the releases of these updates.

I prefer it this way. Some updates might not be agreeable with things I'm doing.

i have mine set to not automatic for bandwidth reasons, since sometimes I have to tether my comptuer to my phone and I dont want it eating up megabytes as soon as I connect before I actually do anything
