Hope someone can help. My 1st xps m1730 stopped working all of a sudden one day. They tried replacing the motherboard and it didnt work so I was ordered a replacement. It now has died after 4months of use. Same exact thing .Stopped dead. After they wanted to have me send it off I wrote their corporate office and am now getting the runaround....I flat out told Dell I do not want a refurbished m1730 which is what they wanted to offer me. They now want to send me a Studio XPS 16 and will not send me the specs on it. I have tried to push for the Alienware M17x but they are stonewalling me on this and refusing to send one saying I need to either accept the Studio XPS 16 or they will have an executive tech fix the one that is dead. ANY SUGGESTIONS??? I have read here that people have had their XPS M1730 replaced with the Alienware M17x. How do I push for that to happen ?? Thanks for any help !
