First of all, one big HELLO to all of You wise Ones!
I'm about to buy myself a new laptop and these last couple off days I was trying to find some interesting ones... so, at the end, here I am... trying to make up my mind...
This one:
ASUS N70SV-TY043C
Or maybe this one:
SONY VAIO VGN-FW41M/H
What would You guys suggest me?
By checking the specifications, I could see that many of them are the same, but still, some are not....
.... so now I'm asking You experts - what would be Your choice here?
I've never had any experience neither with ASUS, nor with SONY VAIO laptops, so maybe You could tell me which one could I trust more?
SONY is a bit more expensive, around 80 euros, but price doesn't matter in this case. I just want to buy one that is better... if SONY VAIO is the better one - I would not mind paying those extra 80 Euros as all.
Greetings and thanks in advance!

That's what I was thinking! My best guess to what Yoob was saying is that there are differences between notebooks designed by, for instance, American companies and ordered through ODMs in Taiwan or China and notebooks designed by Taiwanese or Chinese companies and either built themselves or ordered through other ODMs. However, your point that Sony is a Japanese (and hence Asian) company still stands regardless.
